Click on the glyph you want, and you’re good to go! Resource Gathering For Glyphs in ESO The game will then display a selection menu with glyphs you can use to enchant that item. You can safely ignore the text on that image it’s woefully outdated, as are some of the guides and wiki entries you’ll find on enchanting in Elder Scrolls Online.Īs you venture out into Elder Scrolls Online’s open world, you’ll find glowing stones that look like this: The most time-intensive part of crafting is resource gathering. Runestones out in the wild are no longer divided between Aspect, Potency, and Essence - each runestone you gather has a chance for any of the types, and you’ll usually gather two runes. There are quite a few guides on YouTube that talk about the “best” farming location for runestones. I’ve found that the best way to get runestones is to find your own route around an area you know well. To make sure you don’t miss runestones that are cleverly placed around the world, I highly recommend the HarvestMap addon, which will display resources – including runestones – on your map. I am just a casual player trying to run some dungeons and kill some stuff. You’ll have to tell the addon not to display every single type of resource to unclutter your map, but it’s worth it. I like knowing it's there all of the time. So why use TH when a potion can provide Major Prophecy? I personally prefer it because my old ass sometimes (ok, oftentimes) forgets to pop another pot when it runs out. I like Valkyn Skoria Grundwulf would be helpful for more sustain, Iceheart for defense, Zaan and Llambris are other good offensive options. You can keep Maw of Infernal if you're going the pet route. When you're fully buffed, you can easily achieve well over 3k spell damage. Ensure your armor is all Divines to get even more crit damage. Change your Mundus stone to The Shadow to boost crit damage. You should end up with over 50% crit chance. You can add maybe 1 Bloodthirsty piece of jewelry, but most should be magicka related. Gold at least your front bar staff, both if you can. You may have to pop a pot here and there, but it's not bad if you're not wasting abilities by overcasting, etc. You will end up with around 34k Magicka, which is plenty with a Breton. This set adds Major Prophecy, so you can ditch Magelight and add another ability.īurning Spellweave adds more crit chance, weapon damage, and procs even more weapon damage with flame damage. Treasure Hunter is similar to Mother's Sorrow, but with more crit chance and adds weapon damage. A couple sets I would recommend that are easy to get are Treasure Hunter (Volenfell) and Burning Spellweave (City of Ash).
